Choosing a specific green roof or green wall for a project depends on several factors (climate zone, water availability, type of plants used). The kind of building, shape\/structure of the roof and exterior walls play a very important role in the decision. The capacity for evapotranspiration and subsequent cooling of the surrounding environment also depends on the kind of plants used.

This option involves the installation of pre-vegetated modules directly on the fa\u00e7ade. Modular green walls have no contact with the soil and require the installation of a fertigation system to supply the water and nutrients needed for the plants to grow.
